About this Lead Tracker template
When every lead looks the same, the best ones wait longest. This Excel lead tracker scores each lead out of 100 from two ratings — how well they fit your ideal customer and how engaged they are — and gives each a priority.
The pipeline quality summary counts hot, warm and cold leads, shows the average score and names the lead to call first.

How to use it
Score fit and engagement 1–5 each. The lead score combines them out of 100 so the list sorts itself into a call order.
The file opens with sample rows so you can see every formula working before you change anything. Type your own figures over them. When you need more rows, insert them inside the existing block rather than underneath it, so the totals keep covering every row.
Functions it uses
Every one of these exists in Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice, so the file behaves the same wherever you open it.
AVERAGECOUNTIFIFINDEXMATCHMAXROUNDQuestions about the Lead Tracker
How is the lead score calculated?
Fit and engagement are each rated 1 to 5 and combined into a score out of 100.
How is the priority set?
From the score, in bands, so the list sorts itself into a calling order with the strongest leads at the top.
What counts as fit?
How closely the lead matches the customers you serve best — size, sector, budget or need. Decide your criteria and score consistently.
