About this Quote Follow-Up Tracker template
More quotes are lost to silence than to competitors. This Excel quote follow-up tracker records each quote's client, value, date sent and how long it is valid, works out when it expires and flags what needs chasing today.
The summary shows quotes and value awaiting a reply, quotes to chase today, quotes that expired unanswered and your acceptance rate.

How to use it
Most quotes are lost to silence, not to a competitor. Follow-up due and Expired both calculate from today.
The file opens with sample rows so you can see every formula working before you change anything. Type your own figures over them. When you need more rows, insert them inside the existing block rather than underneath it, so the totals keep covering every row.
Functions it uses
Every one of these exists in Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice, so the file behaves the same wherever you open it.
COUNTIFIFIFERRORSUMIFTODAYQuestions about the Quote Follow-Up Tracker
How is the expiry date set?
The date the quote was sent plus the number of days it is valid for.
How does it know what to chase?
It compares each quote's dates with today and its status, and shows the next action for each one.
Why track quotes at all?
A quote left unanswered is often just forgotten on the customer's side. A timely follow-up before it expires is one of the cheapest ways to win more work.
